#1 David Icke
David Icke can rightly be called the king of modern conspiracy. He has been around a long time and has never veered from the path. He has never faded away despite much ridicule over the past 30 years, which is a testimony to his personal strength as an individual. However, the subject matter of his conspiracy theories leaves much to be desired. For a good reason, he is widely regarded as a genuine nutcase. He was the first to bring to the public awareness the idea that the planet was being steered in a certain direction by an alien race, namely the reptilians. He further alleged that most of the world’s elites, especially members of royal families, were actually reptilians in disguise.
He can also be regarded as a new age philosopher and was a former BBC sports anchorman, soccer player, Green party spokesperson and is now one of the world’s most well-known conspiracy theorists. He made his name in the 1990’s as a fully blown conspiracy theorist with the announcement that he was going to be a “full-time investigator into who and what is really controlling the world”. His website Davidicke.com gathers over 250,000 views each month, and he is still publishing many books and eBooks. In the next couple of decades, some of his bizarre theories may even turn out to be true. His most famous book is The Biggest Secret: The Book That Will Change the World. This is hailed by many as a modern-day conspiracy theorists’ bible. His popular films include The Reptilian Agenda (1999), Revelations of a Mother Goddess (2005), and Secrets of the Matrix (2003). Unfortunately, he did appear on national television and declared himself to be Jesus reincarnate, the son of God, which damages him to this day. On BBC’s show Wogan, he announced he was the son of a Godhead and that the world would be devastated with tidal waves, earthquakes, and other natural disasters.
David Icke is a proponent of the doctrine of the Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion as well as being an avid Holocaust denier. The Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion are a set of documents outlining a plan by which a group of Jewish elites would set out world domination over the course of the 20th century and beyond. While this may sound grandiose recent events have unfolded exactly as have been outlined in the protocols. He also proposed that Reptiles keep human’s captive in a 5-sense prison using the Rings of Saturn and the Moon and that this universe is no more than a holographic projection which is there to be broken out of. While this was ridiculed much, there is a significant branch of quantum physics research which indicates that this universe could be a holographic simulation or a virtual reality of some kind.

Alex Jones is quite a polarizing figure. Many will either love his work or hate it. He is undoubtedly the go-to guy for modern day conspiracy news. His work has evolved into a conspiratorial news network, and even more than that. When more people are going to sites such as Infowars than to Fox news for their information, it can no longer be said to be a conspiracy. In fact, Infowars has now become news, and what was once considered fringe conspiracy is considered real news by many, played in progressive cafes and other public outlets instead of conventional talk shows and television.
Alex Jones gets over two million views to his site Infowars.com every month. He has produced over a dozen influential documentaries on secret societies and coverups. Among his more popular films are Endgame: Blueprint for Global Enslavement (2007), TerrorStorm: A History of Government Sponsored Terrorism (2006) and The Obama Deception: The Mask Comes Off (2009). He has also made appearances in the Richard Linklater films A Scanner Darkly (2006) and Waking Life (2001).
Alex Jones is a stout proponent of the original US Constitution and devoutly anti-establishment. He is one of the leading figures of the controversial 9/11 truth movement. The aim of the 9/11 truth movement is to find out what really happened on 9/11 with regard to the official story, which does not really add up. Alex Jones has done more to bring so-called conspiracy theories to mainstream attention than anyone else alive, due to his effectiveness in promoting and marketing his material through various media networks. He is often seen on the popular talk show Coast to Coast AM and also regularly contributes to Jesse Ventura’s TruTV’s conspiracy theory show.

Jim Mars is a New York bestselling author and has written many works on conspiracies and coverups. He follows closely behind Alex Jones in terms of bringing such scandals to worldwide attention. One of his mains books is known as CrossFire, which delves into the assassination of John Francis Kennedy. Marrs is considered as the expert in terms of JFK assassination. He is also a former news reporter and a proponent of telepathy, aliens and secret societies like a lot of conspiracy theorists. It often happens that those who get caught up in New World Order and secret societies believe in alternative realities, aliens and paranormal capabilities which have yet to be demonstrated in a laboratory setting.
Jim Marrs has taught a university course on the JFK assassination at the University of Texas since 1976. He also served as a chief consultant for the screenplay and production of Oliver Stone’s film John Francis Kennedy. He is also known for his research on secret societies, extra-terrestrials, the Federal Reserve, and 9/11 conspiracy theories. He is a current member of Scholars for 9/11 Truth. Jim Marrs is considered a conspiracy expert and is well recognized in these fields. He has appeared on many shows in including CBS, ABC, NBC, The History Channel, TLC and The Larry King Show, as well as many others. He also speaks at international conspiracy conferences such as the International UFO Congress and the Annual Gulf Breeze UFO Conference.

#4 Gary Allen
In terms of the New World Order, Gary Allen did more than any other author to raise awareness of the conspiracy. Allen was a political researcher, journalist and conspiracy book author who died in 1986. His famous book None Dare Call it Conspiracy (1971) sold over 4 million copies and was co-written with Larry Abraham.
The book outlined the plans of the New World Order to take over the power of sovereign nations through the use of economic maneuvering. The central bank and the power of financing was to be used as the primary means through which the establishment/elites would gain power over all individual states and by extension individual citizens. The name for the establishment/elite/Illuminati in the book was “insiders”. The plan has unfolded as Allen predicted, with the central bank racking up trillions of debts which could only be borne by the people who give all their powers away to the insiders who planned it all along. The income tax is also described as a means of robbing money from individual citizens.
Allen also wrote other books which brought attention to groups such as the Trilateral Commission and the Council of Foreign Relations, both of which are notorious for having a number of secretive meetings with the most elite of elites – Presidents, billionaires, CEO’s and royalty, among other renowned figures from various nations. Some of his other popular books include Richard Nixon: The Man Behind the Mask (1971), Kissinger: The Secret Side of the Secretary of State(1976) and Say “No!” to the New World Order(1987)
#5 Jon Rappoport
Jon Rappoport spent a number of years as an investigative reporter, and this is how he mainly identifies himself. But the nature of his investigative reports are conspiratorial in nature. He has written books on Aids and vaccines long before these conspiracies became mainstream. He has also done a substantial investigation into the nature of mental health and the anomalies within the psychology paradigm. Most notable is his claim that the whole psychiatry industry is practically made up and is pseudo-science and not science. This is because there are no biological markers for any type of mental disease. They are literally, and not figuratively, made up. They are based on random observations from a cookbook of behaviors, which may change from day to day. In particular, he raised the issue of kids with ADHD, saying there is nothing wrong with such children and nothing wrong with objecting to being institutionalized day after day, wearing the same clothes and listening to the same voice. He has a now popular website known as nomorefakenews.com, which touches on multiple issues and reports on daily events.
Rappoport appeared on Alex Jones’s Infowars to disseminate information about the contradictory nature of the mental health establishment and how the whole protocol should be consigned to the dustbin. Jon sells three main products on his site, in MP3 format to listen to as audio tapes. They are Exit from the Matrix, The Matrix Revealed and Power Outside the Matrix. All of these have to do with individual empowerment, and his works include manifestation, projection, and visualization exercises with a twist that is completely different from traditional new and old age techniques. He has been an investigative reporter for over 30 years and has sought the answer to the question “who runs the world?” for many years. He has contributed much to finding out and pointing out what he calls “cartels” (medical, government, financial, legal, tobacco, etc.) but is something of a dark horse, having never entered the mainstream conspiracy stream like Jones or Icke. He is also an artist and a writer, and his work puts a heavy emphasis on the power of the individual and the imagination, as opposed to group think, system, and conformism.
While much of his work is logical and coherent, based on practical issues in modern day society, he does have some other fringe conspiratorial tendencies. He is an advocate of the work of Zecharia Sitchin, Sitchin is a Russian-American author famous for being the first to decipher the ancient Sumerian tablets. Sitchin wrote books purporting to explain the origins of the human race, which were of ET origin as explained by the Sumerian tablets. His books are quite popular and have been translated into over 25 languages worldwide. While Jon’s endorsement of such modalities is questionable, as is some of his exits the Matrix work, he has done much down to earth research with regard to who really runs the world and his modules on imagination and empowerment are incredibly interesting to read and assimilate.
Other Top Conspiracy Theorists
There are quite a number of conspiracy theorists who were extremely influential but did not make the list. It is hard to determine what makes a top conspiracy theorist, in terms of what exactly they are exposing and how large an audience they can generate. He has appeared on numerous occasions on Infowars and the Real Turks to disseminate information. He has also done much to outline scientifically and systematically what is going on in the financial system, or to use his terms, what the “banksters” are really up to. His site Trendsresearch.com does much to accurately predict financial trends and patterns. It was one of the few (if there is any other) organizations to publicly predict the election of Donald Trump. He has appeared on He has appeared as a guest on media outlets such as The Glenn Beck Show, The Oprah Winfrey Show, , Good Morning America, CBS Morning News, NBC Nightly News, The Today Show, The Alex Jones Show, Russia Today as well as Coast to Coast AM.
• Zecharia Sitchin – As previously mentioned, Zecharia Sitchin is famous for his work done translating ancient clay tablets and brought to the public attention the work of the Annunaki, an ancient alien race responsible for seeding humans on planet earth. Sitchin attested that this ancient race originated on the planet Niburu which is at this time beginning to come to end of its long orbit which is currently affecting the earth in numerous ways. “What Sitchin sees is what he needs for his hypothesis. Figure 15 on page 40 is radiation therapy, and figure 71 on page 136 is a god inside a rocket-shaped chamber. If these are gods, why are they stuck with our cheap B movie technology of rockets, microphones, space-suits, and radiation therapy? If they are gods, then why can’t they have some really divine technology such as intra-dimensional worm-hole travel, antigravity, starlight propulsion, or black hole bounce re-materializations? Zecharia Sitchin has created what looks like a convincing argument, but when he gets close to single images on ancient tablets, he falls back into the literalism of “Here is an image of the gods in rockets.”
• John Robinson – Probably the most influential yet unknown conspiracy theorists. His particular area of specialty within conspiracy fields is that of secret societies. Secret societies have been around for a long time, perhaps since humans first began speaking, but Robinson is responsible for much of the information with regard to the illuminati. Much of the information propagated by modern conspiracy theorists is based on the research done by John Robinson.
Robinson was a Scottish physicist and mathematician, a Professor of Natural Philosophy at the University of Edinburgh, General Secretary of the Royal Society of Edinburgh, member of the Glasgow Literary Society, the inventor of the siren, and author of the extremely influential post-American Revolutionary War era book, Proofs of a Conspiracy against all the Religions and Governments of Europe, carried on in the Secret Meetings of Free-Masons, Illuminati and Reading Societies, etc., collected from good authorities. In the book, Robinson alleges to have knowledge of a group of individuals who had infiltrated the Freemasons and numerous other secret societies with the intent to utilize the secrecy and influence of these groups to destroy organized religion, bring down entire governments, and otherwise create a new global order through deception and cunning. Yes, Robinson is the original exposer of the notorious group of elites conspiring to found a New World Order. He traces this group to the Bavarian Illuminati and connects them to such major world events as the French Revolution.
Due to the enormous impact his book Proofs of a Conspiracy had upon generations of conspiracy theorists, Robinson is probably the single most important figure with regard to the formation of the conspiratorial view of history.
• John Lear – John Lear is the son of the inventor of the Lear jet. An unusual yet outspoken conspiracy theorist, he is one of the most important and well-known theorists in the realm of Alien conspiracies. As the son of the inventor of the Lear jet, a retired airline captain, and a multiple world record holder, he commands considerable respect. And this is why he has done so much to bring the existence of UFOs to the public consciousness. He is also the only pilot ever to hold every single FAA airplane certificate, a record which still stands to this day. He is also something of an insider having done missions for the Central Intelligence Agency and numerous other government agencies. He operates a central position in the pilots for 9/11 truth movement.
The information he brings with regard to UFO’s is quite far flung. His information claims that there are alien bases on the moon and that there are a number of planets where soul farming takes place. He, like many other theorists, believes that the space program is far more advanced than is let on by the government and that the public are simply kept in ignorance about the existence of aliens and the frequent correspondence between members of national governments and these entities. He is also famous for his involvement in Bob Lazar incident as well as the MJ 12 and Avery affairs.

There are a number of theorists who contributed much to conspiracy literature and public awareness, and all were instrumental in bringing around the new era of transparency that we are seeing at the present time. This bodes well for the truth movement and is the first sign of organized resistance to the monopoly of goods and resources held by a group of planetary elites. As this gains traction over the next five or ten years, we can expect many changes politically, economically and socially as more truth and scandals get brought to public attention.
